Frequently Asked Questions

iMIS Integration FAQ

What is iMIS?

iMIS is an Engagement Management System (EMS) designed for organizations to manage memberships, events, donations, and communications in one platform. It’s widely used by associations, nonprofits, and member-based organizations.

Is your product compatible with iMIS Cloud?

Yes, our solutions are fully compatible with iMIS Cloud and iMIS 20/EMS. Whether you’re on-prem or hosted by ASI, we ensure seamless data exchange and integration.

How do you connect your app with iMIS?

We use the iMIS REST API to securely connect your data with our platform. No manual syncs, no spreadsheets—real-time communication ensures accurate records at all times.

Can we push data back to iMIS from your system?

Yes. All major actions—check-ins, donations, membership updates, and even session attendance—are written back to iMIS in real time. No double-entry.

Do we need an iMIS consultant to set this up?

Not necessarily. While we work seamlessly with major iMIS resellers like ATS and enSYNC, our onboarding team can handle the full setup. That said, if you’re already working with a consultant, we’re happy to collaborate.

Does your solution support single sign-on (SSO) with iMIS?

Yes. Members can log in using their existing iMIS credentials—no need to remember another password. This creates a frictionless experience for both admins and users.

How do you handle data security and privacy?

We follow industry best practices for data protection and align with iMIS standards. Our integrations use secure APIs with token-based authentication, ensuring that your data stays safe and compliant.

Can we customize what data is shown or synced from iMIS?

Absolutely. We offer flexible sync rules and filters so you can control exactly what data is shared, when, and how.

Do you offer onsite support or training?

Yes. For organizations looking for hands-on help, we offer white-glove onboarding and onsite support during events or go-lives. We also provide staff training tailored to your iMIS setup.

SMS Text Messaging for iMIS – FAQ

How does SMS for iMIS help our organization?

SMS for iMIS allows your organization to send real-time, high-visibility messages directly to members’ phones—ensuring important updates, reminders, and alerts are seen instantly. It’s fully integrated with your iMIS system, so no extra tools or manual steps are needed.

Why is SMS more effective than email?
  • Instant Visibility – Most texts are read within minutes.
  • Higher Response Rates – Members are more likely to act on a text than an email.
  • No Spam Folder – Texts don’t get filtered or lost like emails often do.
What types of messages can we send?

You can use SMS for:

  • Membership renewal reminders
  • Event confirmations or updates
  • Donation requests
  • Urgent alerts (e.g., last-minute changes)
  • Custom outreach campaigns
Will this integrate with our current iMIS setup?

Yes. SMS for iMIS is built to work seamlessly with iMIS Cloud, RiSE, and EMS—no third-party tools required.

5. Can we target specific member groups with texts?

Definitely. Since it’s powered by your iMIS database, you can send texts based on:

  • Membership type or status
  • Event registration
  • Giving history
  • Custom segments (e.g., region, role, or tags)
Do we need to manage these messages manually?

Nope—unless you want to.

  • You can set up automated triggers (e.g., 30 days before renewal)
  • Or send one-time announcements (e.g., weather-related event change)
Is it secure and compliant?

Yes. SMS for iMIS follows privacy and messaging regulations. Members can opt out easily, and your data stays secure within iMIS.

Will our members need to download anything?

No app needed. Messages are sent straight to members’ phones via standard SMS—no logins or downloads required.

What results can we expect?

Organizations using SMS for iMIS often see:

  • Increased event attendance and renewals
  • Faster responses from members
  • Reduced admin follow-up work
  • Stronger engagement across the board

iMIS Login & Security FAQ

What is AutoLogin for iMIS?

AutoLogin™ is a one-click login solution that allows members to access personalized pages (like renewals, registrations, or donations) directly from an email—without having to log in manually. It streamlines user experience and boosts engagement by reducing friction.

How does AutoLogin benefit our organization?
  • No scrambling for passwords
  • Reduces staff support requests
  • Increases conversions from email marketing
  • Seamless, secure access for members and prospects
Is AutoLogin secure?

Yes. AutoLogin uses secure, tokenized links that validate the user’s identity against the iMIS database. Each link is time-sensitive and tamper-resistant, offering a safe experience.

What is EasyLogin for iMIS?

EasyLogin (formerly OTP for iMIS) is a login solution that lets members log in using a one-time password (OTP) sent to their email. No need to remember usernames or passwords—just enter a 5-digit code valid for 15 minutes.

Can we use both AutoLogin and EasyLogin together?

Absolutely! Many iMIS clients combine both features to cover all access points—AutoLogin for marketing emails and EasyLogin for website logins.

What is Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for iMIS RiSE?

MFA adds an extra layer of security by requiring users to verify their identity via:
– Email code
– SMS text
– Push notification (if a MOSAIC 365 client)

This helps prevent unauthorized access and increases member confidence.

Is MFA required for all users?

No, MFA is optional and user-controlled. Members can opt in and select their preferred method of verification.

Why should we enable MFA for our members?
  • Strengthens data protection
  • Builds trust and transparency
  • Gives users control over their security settings
  • Reduces potential for breaches or credential theft
Do these login solutions work with iMIS Cloud and RiSE?

Yes. All three—AutoLogin, EasyLogin, and MFA—are fully compatible with iMIS Cloud, iMIS EMS, and iMIS RiSE.
